Run a win-back campaign with AI
One prompt has Claude or ChatGPT find lapsed customers, write a win-back email with an offer, send you a test and schedule it in Audienceful, after you approve the recipients.
Find customers who've bought from us before but haven't ordered in the last 90 days. Tell me how many there are, write a win-back email with 15% off using the code WELCOMEBACK, send me a test, then schedule it for Thursday at 10am to that group.
The buttons work once Audienceful is connected to your assistant. No account yet? Start free, then connect Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor in a minute. This recipe also needs Shopify connected.
Why do this in Audienceful
- Your assistant can schedule the send. The Klaviyo and Mailchimp connectors for Claude and ChatGPT stop at drafts.
- Every send needs a preview and a single-use approval, so a stray prompt can't email your list.
- Audiences come from real Shopify purchases and stay saved for next quarter.
Free up to 1,000 contacts. The MCP server and AI agent are on every plan.
What your assistant does
- 1
Learns the audience rules available
get_audience_rule_referenceConfirms purchase-history rules are available from your Shopify store.
- 2
Counts the lapsed customers
preview_audiencePeople who have purchased, but not within the last 90 days. Nothing is saved yet.
- 3
Saves the audience
create_audienceSo you can reuse it next quarter.
- 4
Writes the email
create_draft - 5
Sends you a test
send_test_email - 6
Shows you the send before it happens
preview_sendRecipient count, sample recipients and the send time.
- 7
Schedules it after you approve
schedule_sendYour approval works once, for exactly those recipients, and expires after 15 minutes.
You end up with
A saved "lapsed customers" audience, a finished win-back email and a scheduled send, approved by you.
Why it works
Win-back campaigns pay off because the audience already knows you. The hard part is finding them: who bought, but not recently? With your store connected, the assistant turns that sentence into a saved audience with a count before it writes a word.
Good to know
- You approve the exact send. Before scheduling, your assistant has to show you the recipient count and timing. The approval can't be reused for a different audience or time.
- The audience stays up to date. It's saved as rules, so next quarter's win-back starts from the same audience with new people in it.
- Prefer it automated? Ask for an automation instead and every customer who lapses gets the email at the right moment.
