Connect Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor to Audienceful

Our AI agent does the work inside Audienceful. But a lot of you already spend your day in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, and you've asked to run your email from there too.

So today we're launching the Audienceful MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to work with other tools. Connect Audienceful once, and your assistant can work in your workspace directly instead of handing you text to paste somewhere else.

Works With the Assistant You Already Use 🔌

The server is hosted by us, so there's nothing to install and no API key to copy. Add one URL to your AI app and sign in:

It works with:

  • Claude on the web, desktop and mobile (setup)
  • ChatGPT, plus OpenAI's Codex CLI (setup)
  • Gemini CLI (setup)
  • Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code (setup)
  • Any other app that supports remote MCP servers

When you connect, you sign in to Audienceful, pick a workspace and choose what the assistant can do: view only, create and edit, or send email too.

What Your Assistant Can Do 🤖

The server has 48 tools covering the same ground as the app:

  • Contacts: look up anyone and their activity, add and tag people, create custom fields, and import a CSV.
  • Audiences: turn "everyone who joined this month and hasn't opened an email" into a saved audience, with a count first.
  • Emails: draft a newsletter from your notes, edit a draft block by block, start from a template or restyle your theme.
  • Automations: describe a welcome or win-back sequence and get the whole thing built, emails included.
  • Reports: ask how your last send did, which links got clicked, how deliverability looks, or how much revenue email drove.
  • Sending: send a test, then schedule or cancel a send.

Try asking: "Find customers who haven't ordered in 90 days and build a three-email win-back sequence for them. Leave it paused so I can review it."

Guardrails Built Into the Server 🛡️

Inside Audienceful, the agent shows you a Confirm button before it acts. An outside assistant can't show our buttons, so the server enforces the same care itself:

  • Nothing sends without your OK. Your assistant has to show you a preview with the recipients and timing first. The approval works once, for exactly those people, and expires after 15 minutes.
  • Bulk contact changes need a preview too, so a clean-up can't touch more people than you saw.
  • New automations start paused, so nothing goes out until you turn them on.
  • Unsubscribed contacts stay unsubscribed. Adding or importing someone never re-subscribes them.
  • Disconnect any time from Apps → Installed apps in Audienceful.
