A flow for every moment between browsing and buying again
Shopify reports each moment as its own event, so each one can run its own flow. Start with the ones closest to a sale: abandoned checkouts, then browsers, then first-time buyers.
- Abandoned checkout recovery: three emails over two days, stopped by a purchase.
- Browse abandonment: reach shoppers who looked but never added to cart.
- Post-purchase email flow: a thank-you that sets up the second order.
- Replenishment reminders: a restock prompt for products that run out.
- Win-back email flow: bring lapsed buyers back before they're gone.
From template to live Shopify automation
Install from Shopify
Install Audienceful from the Shopify App Store, or connect your store from the Integrations tab. Customers, orders and products sync in, with no code and no CSV.
Apply a template
The whole flow copies into your workspace with its Shopify trigger already set: every email, wait, tag and goal, with the copy written.
Make it yours and switch it on
Rewrite the copy in your voice, add your discount code if the flow uses one, and activate it. It arrives paused, so nothing sends before you're ready.
Common questions
Which Shopify events can start a flow?
Customer created; order created, paid, fulfilled and cancelled; checkout started; checkout abandoned; and, from the storefront pixel, product viewed and added to cart. Any automation you build can use them, not just these templates.
What do browse abandonment and added-to-cart flows need?
The Audienceful app embed switched on in your theme editor. It recognizes shoppers who came from your emails or signed up through a form, and only those known shoppers' product views and add-to-carts start a flow.
Will a template email my existing customers straight away?
No. Applied templates arrive paused, and event-triggered flows only enroll people when a new Shopify event fires after you switch them on.
Do the templates include discount codes?
Some emails mention a sample code such as WELCOME10. Create a matching code in Shopify, or swap in your own.
How do I know a flow is making money?
Paid Shopify orders are credited to the flow that drove them, using the last click within 5 days, with refunds netted out. Each automation shows the revenue it earned.
Are the templates free?
Yes, on every plan. Your plan sets how many automations can run at once: 1 on Free, 3 on Essentials and unlimited on Growth.
Put your store's events to work
Create a free account, connect Shopify, and the template you choose is copied into your workspace, paused and ready to review.
