Shopify Marketing Automation with Audienceful

Audienceful connects natively to Shopify, so you can trigger email automations directly from store activity (new orders, abandoned checkouts, fulfillments, customer signups and more) without code or third-party middleware. This page is your map to every Shopify marketing automation you can build, and where to go for each.

Connect Shopify first

Every flow below starts the same way: connect your store from the Integrations tab. Once connected, Shopify events appear as triggers in the automation builder, and Shopify order data flows into your contacts for segmentation and revenue tracking.

Shopify events you can trigger on

Audienceful can start an automation from any of these Shopify events:

  • New order placed and order paid: power post-purchase, review and replenishment flows.
  • Order fulfilled: perfect for shipping/review follow-ups.
  • Order cancelled: trigger save or apology sequences.
  • Checkout started and abandoned checkout: the backbone of cart recovery.
  • New customer created: welcome first-time buyers.
  • Product viewed and added to cart: behavioral flows powered by our storefront pixel.

The most common Shopify flows

Here are the highest-impact automations most stores run, in roughly the order of ROI:

Two of these (browse abandonment and add-to-cart abandonment) rely on Audienceful's storefront tracking pixel to see on-site behavior. Everything else works from Shopify's order and customer data as soon as you connect the store.

Start from a template

Every flow above has a ready-made template with the emails written, timing set, and conversion goals configured. Browse them all in the automation template gallery, or jump straight into any specific flow from the links above.
